Bike Assembly & Shipping

For the new bikes we sell, we typically follow manufacturers’ recommended prices listed on their respective brands’ websites.

For Jamis and Velotric, we are able to honor manufacturers’ discounts and ongoing promotions as well! For the other brands we sell, we try to honor all manufacturers’ discounts and promotions but there are some exceptions.

Below is a breakdown of our standard assembly and shipping fees. These vary based on each brand’s respective shipping terms and the labor hours required to assemble, tune, and quality control the bikes. The extent at which we are able to assist with shipping costs really varies from brand to brand so please reach out if you are interested in any particular bike/brand to learn more!

Assembly Fees: These are assembly prices for new bikes purchased directly through Ferris Wheels!!

  • Non-electric bikes: Free assembly!!

  • Electric bikes, regular size: $120

  • Cargo bikes: $160 (tricycle and XL are additional based on size & complexity)

    Every new bike professionally assembled by Ferris Wheels Bike Shop includes:

    • 30 Ride Check Up (Ride bike 1-2 months after purchase and bring back for maintenance check)

    • Complimentary adjustments for the first 6 months

    • Manufacturer’s warranty

Shipping Fees:

  • Non-electric bikes: no shipping fee when ordered in bulk, otherwise we offer subsidized shipping at $35 (actual shipping $65-75)

  • Electric bikes: no shipping fee when ordered in bulk, otherwise we offer subsidized shipping at $75 (actual shipping $65-125+)

  • Cargo bikes: varies by brand, $200 for Urban Arrow, $350 for Bullitt

Battery Recycling Fee:

  • When purchasing a new ebike or battery, a $15 lithium ion battery recycling fee will be applied

  • For participating brands of end-of-life batteries, you can drop them off at our store free of charge and we will ship them to Call2Recycle for processing and recycling
